GGSC The Helping Hand Stretching ExerciserThe Helping Hand Stretching Exerciser

  • Estimated Price:  $19.46 + $4.95 Shipping and Handling (each)
  • Availability:  Direct

The Helping Hand is designed to refresh your hand(s) and reduce fatigue by helping to increase the blood flow through your hands and wrist. Fatigued hands are often caused by restricted blood flow which can be the beginning of a vicious cycle that may lead to Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) of the hand(s). In addition, the Helping Hand can help reduce pressure on the Carpal Tunnel and relieve many symptoms of RSI. It is non-invasive. It doesn't impede your movement like splints and appliances or add to the strain like grip exercisers.

How does the Helping Hand work?

The Helping Hand performs 4 actions simultaneously :

  1. It stretches the palm outward which, in turn, helps stretch the Transverse Ligament and opens the carpal canal in the wrist.
  2. It elongates the tendons and muscles of the wrist and hand making them thinner and less able to impede blood flow or pressure (or compress) the carpal tunnel.
  3. It draws the wider parts of the tendons of the forearm into the carpal canal for a short time which leaves the canal slightly larger after they retract.
  4. It helps relax muscles and relieve stiffness.
