height and distance as the monitor. Other models fit between the keyboard and monitor to

These guys actually excel in the Monitor Arm area but offer three standard doc holders
(like everybody else's) at $10, $45, and $75. The $10 one is of course little piece of
plastic that is capable of holding a sheet of paper and attaches to side of monitor.

Full line of Doc holders- all at affordable prices. Freestanding and clamp mount spring
arms. And- of all the toys!- they have a Motorized Line Guide (yes, literally), which when
attached to the doc holder, it moves the line guide electrically with a press on a foot
pedal on the floor. A $67.50 option but don't scoff- we sold a bunch of these to the USPS
and they loved 'em. They also have a doc holder lamp that attaches to the top of the doc
holder for $45.00. Nice little item- sometimes I have people looking for these and don't
know where to get such a simple item. (Timothy Robert Mayhew, Professional Ergonomic

Seemingly a recent entry into the office accessory foray. Office Depot seems to have
picked up the Kensington line (and Fellowes) line so they are easy to find. Basically,
Kensington created a line of doc holders like everybody else's. Advantage is probably low
price and readily available at local office depot. (Timothy Robert Mayhew, Professional

Like no other Doc Holder you've ever seen. Solid steel and built like a tank. Has a
dual pivot arm that clamps to desk edge. Size is 18"x 24", and larger
24"x30" comes in vertical or horizontal configuration and is height adjustable-
(the doc holder, but not the arm), also available with tilt mechanism. You would use this
to hold a newspaper page, a large blueprint, or some sort of industrial application. I
know of no other product like this. It's just a huge freakin' doc holder that
weighs at least 20lbs. I've got two of them here and they are very interesting but exactly
what you'd need in that sort of industry. (Timothy Robert Mayhew, Professional Ergonomic

Adjustable document holders, much like the monitor risers,
reduce neck discomfort and musculoskeletal stress by positioning documents at
eye-level. Most users place their work on their desk and spend the working day
staring downward causing severe stress in the neck, back, and shoulders.

SIS has a portable doc holder with a concave curved shape to reduce any glare- very
expensive doc holder for the expandable to 16" and their basic concave is
"only" . Very unique products - others have followed with similar designs. I
have used this one and it is well worth the money. They also have the ever-present
"piece of paper holder" that attaches to the side of the monitor. (Timothy

The wonderful originator of the widely popular VuRyser that you see everywhere. They
recently discontinued the copyholder they had and changed it to a modified product. The
idea of putting the doc holder between the keyboard and screen - Doc holder held in place
by the monitor sitting on its base and the doc surface pivots to applicable angle.
14" (14SL) $84.00 and 18" (18SL) $89.00 wide available. Expensive but has unique
approach to what to do with that document. Only catch is this will not work on flat table
since the doc holder base has to be several inches off the desk surface (VuRyser anyone?)-
otherwise very unique product and a good niche market. Doc holder is clear acrylic
plastic. Adaptables (the new kid on the block) is secretly competing
against the VuRyser and has a very similar product. (Timothy Robert Mayhew, Professional
Ergonomic Solutions - Feb'98)
